Remembering 9/11 – 20 Years Later

On September 22, 2021, the students, faculty and staff celebrated Mass in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the attacks on September 11th 2001. After the Mass, a remembrance was held outside at our 9/11 memorial site, where students were joined by heroes from the NYFD and NYPD, who were there on that fateful day. Also in attendance were members of the Suffolk County Police Department, as well as the Commack Fire Department, to say a prayer for all of our fallen heroes and our fallen Friars. Now more than ever it is important that we teach our students to Never Forget that this day, and everyday, we are still ONE nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
